Avis Car Rental

WARNING! Do not rent from this AVIS location. They bait and switch, never have the car you reserved, won't take major credit cards, give you filthy cars (when I put seats down care was full of dog hair), and then try to charge you upon return. The owner is rude and unethical. I have rented from this location 3x previously and always hasseled. I will drive to the airport to get vehicles going forward. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

They cancelled my reservation that I made weeks ago with less than 40 minutes' notice because they "ran out of cars." Totally unacceptable. *UPDATE* - After Avis's outreach/response, they have worked hard to have me try their services again, which I will do. I am hoping to have a better experience.

Everyone that works at this Avis has a horrible attitude. 8am no customers here and I'm getting told to sit down because it's gonna be a while. When I returned the car there is no urgency. Dude that checked my car says "damage!" on front bumper. This was already written on my slip but he proceeded to give me a hard time about it. Will be going out of my way to not rent from this location next time.

The moment I walked in I was greeted by Karla at the front counter. She was very polite and helped me get the perfect car that fit my needs. Will 100% be coming back!.

Carla, who works at the front counter, is one of the rudest individuals I have ever dealt with. I had mistakenly rented through Budget instead of Avis, and instead of helping me, she was more focused on pointing out that I was wrong. Thankfully, another staff member stepped in, was respectful, and assisted me. When Carla butted back in, I politely asked her not to, but she continued. When I asked if I could rent once a check was completed, she gave unnecessary information just to prove I was wrong again. Her attitude quickly turned passive-aggressive--she laughed at me and walked away while I was still speaking.
