Avis Car Rental

I've always chosen this location over the Berlin turnpike store because I've had better experiences here even with the constant short-staffing. But now under new management it's gotten sooo much better. Joy at this location is a "joy" to interact with. Always a smile on the face and that makes all the difference too. Will continue returning to this location and using Avis as a result!!

I've been renting vehicles from this place since Dec 2022 and I'll be honest, before the management change it was a rough time but I'm a patient person and can understand the struggles of trying to hold everything together while being understaffed and that's what was happening under old management (pushing their employees past their limits), so I kept coming back because I at least always got a car within 15 most of the time. However, these past few months after being under new management it has gotten much better and I never have difficulties with booking a rental for work.

I had a great experience renting a car at this Hartford location under new management. I’d rented here in the past and wasn’t impressed, but the changes are night and day—from the updated look to the customer service. Tina was patient, professional, and a pleasure to work with. I’ll absolutely be returning!

For a company that their motto is “our only plan is to make sure you keep your plan” today was an utter failure. Horrible customer service, especially by the manager (Lisa). I’m an active duty Service member stationed overseas who came to visit family during holiday break. Never had this many issues renting a vehicle. 1) reserved a minivan for a family of seven to go back to airport. Came to the store and was told they don’t have any minivans but they can give me a smaller SUV (Take it or leave it). The manager was called and she said I had only 6 mins to decide before she cancels my reservation because they didn’t have other options that met my needs and there were three other customers waiting. 2) the manager, Lisa, was contacted by phone and not only wasn’t helpful, but sounded disres

Under new management was key!!! Great customer service skills by (joy) very professional and super helpful willing to go extra mile to make sure I had a great experience… recommend to come check this location out.. keep up the good work Avis
