Avis Car Rental

I had never had a bad experience with Avis until my rental from this location. I made my reservation online and made payment. When I picked up my rental I was told there would not be any additional charges. Fast forward a couple days after I returned the rental and I receive a charge on me credit card. I have disputed this charge but all I have received is a copy of the rental agreement. Long story short, avoid this location. They are not honest and will find a way to charge you fees for stuff you didn’t ask for.

Our entire experience was exceptional including picking up our vehicle and also at drop off. Picking up our vehicle from Leah at the Avis desk on Aug 31 was so easy. She was extremely professional, knowledgeable, pleasant, and very helpful in getting us on the road within minutes. We didn't think that experience could be matched, until we met Gavin when returning our vehicle on Sept. 3. We realized we had misplaced a personal item after returning the car and Gavin listened to our issue, and jumped in to help us find resolution to a very stressful situation, which helped us to make our flight on-time. Gavin's compassion and professionalism saved the day for us. Gavin and Leah went above and beyond, positively impacting our vacation. Thank you!

Super seedy. No one there for verify your fuel level, they just ask you when you bring the car in. I brought my car full and told them. They charged my 100+ for refueling fees. Take photos and verify your bill.

I'm usually a 5 star giver ..maybe too much. There's no staff here! No instructions nothing on how to return the car. I returned my rental on 2/25 at 10:15am. I was supposed to return at 11am. No one was around so I dropped the key in the dropbox. They don't check the box every hour to see what keys are coming back? Whoever works there didn't end up checking my car in until 2/26 at 7am the next morning. So what happened? Avis thought I kept the car an extra 21 hours. What's that mean? extra charges for a car that was already returned. Oh here's a pic of mileage. Bad. However, I did call and the phone agent said they'd reverse charges... we'll see if they hold true to word. Avis can check the OnStar in that car and see it hasn't moved in the window I dropped it off to when they checked the

Wonderful experience when my hire vehicle started to show signs of brake wear travelling down the west coast, I called and was advised to bring the vehicle in. That same afternoon I was served by Tammy who was absolutely amazing. Unfortunately I was just pipped to the desk by an inbound flight from San Diego so had a small wait, once Tammy was done sorting the other customers she went above and beyond to help me out, even though she was under a lot of pressure at a very busy time. She really is a credit to the company!
