Avis Car Rental

I rented a standard 5 passenger SUV here in December 2025 for 2 weeks for a business trip. I made my reservation online a couple weeks prior and it said a standard suv would be a Ford Edge or similar, I received a GMC Terrain that was in good condition, only a year or 2 old, it was clean and had no smells. It was a very easy and quick transaction as I pre-registered on the Avis app, I was in and out and on the road quickly. Had no issues the whole 2 weeks, brought the car back fully fueled just as I had received it and the drop off was just as quick. Definitely one of the better car rental experiences I have had. I did happen to hit a couple tolls but it was all taken care of by Avis and charged to my card with a email of the receipt. All an all I had a great experience renting with Avis t

Don’t arrive after 5 pm, they are upset to see you arriving so late and make it feel to you. My worst car rental experience ever.

Tom was absolutely wonderful. We had to rebook a rental car last minute as our original rental cancelled our booking and went through Uber rentals, which then booked us a vehicle through Avis. We flew into Boston-Logan and were unaware of how far apart these two airports are, especially landing at 4pm and having to get from Boston-Logan to Norwood during rush hour. Tom made our trip happen. He was very understanding and accommodating. We needed a very large SUV to fit a mattress since we planned on sleeping in the vehicle for 3/7 nights of our first trip to the North East. He was so kind and understanding. We ended up getting to Avis 45min after they closed due to the heavy traffic we did not expect upon arrival and the distance we had to travel. He went above and beyond for us as he could

Worst rental(tentative) experience ever! I had a confirmed reservation with a pick up time. I went to the location 30 minutes before pick up time. The office was closed and the sign on the door said they will be back at 8 am, next day! I called the next day and was told that they did not have a car for me and they did not have a number to let me know about it. My reservation included a phone number and an email. In addition, I was told they have no idea how I was able to reserve a car because their reservation system was down in the last two days. It seems like they do not know what they are doing over here. Do yourself a favor and reserve somewhere else where employees are able to track reservations. This place is not reliable at all.
