My car stank, and these guys ripped me off of my $250 security deposit. Edit: Saw their response down below when I originally called about my security deposit the guy who took my call was less than helpful. If he would have told me the information From your replywe wouldn’t have a problem . I could have emailed him or given him all the information over the phone he simply told me to call corporate billing . I protested said there’s no way you can help me out with this “ Nope, you have to call corporate billing” How about having your staff be willing to help people when they call instead of only wanting to help them when they leave you a negative review?
The staff were friendly enough, but they outright gave my reservation away to someone else, which left me stuck. Very weird practice that defeats the purpose of reservations. I’d recommend calling ahead and also accepting that any reservations made at this location are not a sure thing. I know other Avis locations typically guarantee a vehicle for Preferred Plus members (if it’s within the realm of physical possibility), but not this location.
My experience with this Avis location was extremely disappointing and uncomfortable. The staff, particularly the managers on duty, was not welcoming and demonstrated unprofessional, overly authoritative behavior that felt more like a power struggle than customer service. There was a clear lack of multicultural awareness and people skills. The manager was short-tempered, dismissive, and rude, and the interaction escalated to the point where I felt threatened rather than assisted. As a customer, I expected professionalism, respect, and basic courtesy, none of which were provided. This experience highlighted a serious need for diversity awareness training, improved customer service standards, and leadership accountability. My experience at this location was beyond disappointing. I booked a reservation went to pick up the rental and was told an old reservation wasn’t canceled out yet so they couldn’t move forward but I wasn’t told that until everything was processed and my money for the rental and the deposit was taken right before telling me that information. I received no help in any kind of way. I contacted customer service to see why hadn’t they closed out the old reservation but while I was there getting everything straightened out the agent rented out the vehicle that I had already paid for leaving me with nothing! So I had no rental and no money because they had charged me for the rental told me it takes 3 to 7 business days to get a refund. It was a total inconvenience and they did nothing to make thi
Hi! I been a valued customer for over 10-15 years and ever since this one guy started working at the location(I believe Bryant)could be wrong,my rentals been getting messed up. I made a complain about this to someone over them and they got in trouble,since then,they been messing with my days and the guy normally take care of my reservations and since they got in trouble,he haven’t did anything then I call to make sure they extended it out for the month and the guy told me yes! “Your all set jay”October 28th I get a call from the repo guy,stated that the location messed up my rental AGAIN” and he wasn’t going to get a tow out for it because this situation happened before.
