I’ve never been around so many arrogant men at once. Scheduled an oil change. Showed up 15 mins early. Paul was not friendly in anyway. “Can I help you… keys?” Just very short. Called 1.5 hours later for an estimated timeframe for it to be completed. They told me another 2 hours.. I told them I have to work, so I’ll pick it up now instead. I was 3 mins away, pulled in and saw them speeding my car into the back. I went in and nobody was up front for a good 7 mins. Then a tech came up, put something on the counter and didn’t even acknowledge me. Paul, shoving his face with pizza, came back and said an hour. I came back, and it had been ready. Nobody called to let me know. Irritating that they took my car back once I said I need it, preventing me from leaving so they can make a sale. 2nd nega
Took a car in for 2 new tires and alignment. Was advised vehicle ready. Less than 30 days later the rear suspension adjustments were finger lose and the tire is now trash as the camber adjustment did not hold ruining the tire. Advised staff brought the car back new alignment was done incorrectly leaving the camber negative and rear toe negative. Also no option of replacing the tire that was ruined. I no longer trust the technicians and leadership at Big O to properly diagnose and repair issues as well as not offering a resolution for the ruined tire.
I have been a loyal customer at Big O Tires for a long time. I’ve done oil changes, brake services, and purchased tires there because I believed in supporting a local business and trusted their service. Today I had a very disappointing and honestly upsetting experience. I went in because my truck had a nail in the middle of the tire — an area that is normally repairable. I greeted the front desk employee politely, but he did not greet me back. He was cold and unfriendly, simply saying, “How can I help you?” with no basic courtesy. After I explained the situation, he immediately told me it would be better to replace the tire instead of repairing it — the same tire I previously purchased from them. I asked if someone could at least check to see if it could be repaired. He then told me they o
In July I went to big O to have some work done and an alignment, they called me the come, pick it up, and I noticed that they never did the alignment.I asked the guy about it.He threw it back up on the machine and said that he would adjust it for free because of that. Something didn't feel right up with it after several months so I took it back in in January to have the tires rotated and the alignment done. Except this time I paid for the year warranty alignment. Because I didn't want any more issues with it. I picked it up within a week or 2I noticed something was really bad with it. I stopped at a different tire store and they showed me the tires that were on there were showing steel. I'll upload the pictures with us.. Now, mind you, I just had the tires, rotated and the alignment done 2
Take your business elsewhere. If you schedule customers, honor the time you scheduled. I arrived at 8:30 AM for a scheduled oil change. I was told it would not be ready by 1:00 PM and that it would be done by 5:00 PM. That means sitting there for up to 8.5 hours for routine maintenance. That is not a minor delay. That is operational incompetence. An oil change is basic service. For an 8:30 AM appointment, a reasonable timeframe is one to two hours, even if the shop is busy. Turning a scheduled morning appointment into an all day wait shows a complete failure to manage workflow and customer commitments. I rescheduled with a competing shop. They told me they are fully booked and busy, and to expect about a two hour turnaround. That is a realistic expectation. That is how scheduling is s
