Billion Auto - Kia of Iowa City

My salesman Brad, was friendly, efficient and patient. The sales manager, Chris, I think, was terrific as well. He managed to get me the loan/payments I wanted and even worked it out so I got the extended warranty as well. A win-win. Huge selection of vehicles, fair prices and excellent customer service made this a great experiencea and I am quite satisfied with my purchase of a 2020 Kia Sportage S. Thanks Billion team!

Apologies for posting this here, not sure where else it should go. Five years ago we purchase a Soul from Billion Auto. We were happy with our buying experience, and very happy with the vehicle for 100,000 miles. Two weeks ago we were traveling to Texas when the transmission died. The car had 101,500 miles. By some miracle, we limped back to Billion Auto. There we got the bad news - $3900. Since I did all the maintenance myself, we were not “loyal Kia customers” and were basically told, “Tough luck.” For various reasons we decided to trade it in and get another Soul. Kelly put the value at about 6,000, so we got 2200 for the trade, and felt that we got a reasonably fair deal. But it still rankled that if we had traded it in a couple of weeks earlier, we would have gotten the 6000.

The sales team did a good job of embracing my interest in searching for a car. 🚗 I had strong ideas of what I wanted and they did their best to help me with that mission. They were willing to work with me on the price of my trade and on the new car. I'll definitely come back there for my next transportation need.

The service department at Billion has been very helpful with resolving a major issue with my 2018 Kia Soul. Keegan was great at communicating with Kia North America to make sure that they could work things out. He was quick to communicate and answered my questions. Gabby handles the paperwork side of things and she is also terrific.

I want to express my sincere thanks for the excellent service I received at Kia Iowa City this morning. The minute I walked in, a staff member was immediately attentive (I apologize that I did not catch his name). He eagerly approached and asked how he could assist. I informed him that I had noticed a loose plastic panel near the rear wheel. He promptly asked for the key and walked with me to the car to inspect the area. He quickly clarified the issue, explaining it was simply a clip that had dislodged, which immediately reassured me. He then drove the vehicle to the service area and returned just a few minutes later to confirm that the repair was complete. The entire process was handled with remarkable speed and efficiency.
