Great company. Decided to get a second opinion here after receiving a recommendation from a University of Iowa parent Facebook page. They provided a thorough assessment of my son’s car and did the work for nearly half the price. They really care about the college kids and have gone above and beyond, not just for our family, but many other families in ensuring our kids are traveling safely.

Very nice guy and the service was very good! After my tires went flat on a Saturday, he was able to sneak me in between two different appointments to take a look and then Monday morning he was able to replace them with snow tires which I needed. I am really appreciative for him being able to do that. I was a bit concerned because many of the other tire/mechanic shops were closed, but it ended up turning out well. The owner (I can't recall his name) was very helpful and explained the potential options for my car. I highly recommend coming to this place if you need car work and my experience was very consistent with the many other very good reviews.

Incredible service! Having a child in college when their car needs repairs is stressful, but Five Stars Auto Repair and Tire Service was so accommodating. Ghamin was incredibly kind to my daughter who was experiencing her first car issues on her own, he was thorough with his diagnosis, and transparent with his quote. Turnaround time was awesome, and he had no problem talking with parents 2 hours away to make sure they understand the scope of work and charges. Highly, highly recommend for your car repair needs!

Hands down the best to do business with. My daughter is an out of state student at the University of Iowa and experienced some car battery issues. 5 Star Auto took care of her right away. Explained everything to her in person and then called me and explained everything to me. I could not have asked for more. He eased my concerns from out of state! I would send everyone to him.

Outstanding service from a consummate professional. Very honest and very hardworking, Ghanim did an excellent job repairing a vacuum leak on my car in a very timely manner. I know who I am bringing my car to next time I need anything.
