We had a very scary Sunday road trip to Iowa City in which my car was making a grinding noise. We drove a long way with this noise, hoping when we got to Iowa City we could quickly get it fixed. Because it was Monday and we didnt know anyone in town we were skeptical. Still, we had to be back home on Monday. Our first call was to Dave & Pat Seydel’s, found in a Google search. Pat said on the phone he couldn’t promise anything until he diagnosed. I brought the car in, went with Ed on a drive so he could hear the noise, and before 1 pm they were finished with the repair. We had already paid a “mobile mechanic” to help us on the road but they had made the wrong repair and ate up seven hours doing other things.
