Blackwater Diesel

Just prior to a multi-month road trip in our 2015 diesel pusher RV our check engine light illuminated. We have never had an engine issue with our Cummins 450HP motor. I anxiously called around regarding fixing the issue and did not feel comfortable with any of the establishments I spoke to until I called Blackwater Diesel and spoke to representative Jeff Veloso. He was patient, informative and professional. I told him our situation and he offered me an appointment two days later, but said if I could bring the unit in the next afternoon they might be able to run a diagnostic to determine what needed to be done to remedy our situation allowing Blackwater to begin immediately the next morning. I brought my truck to Blackwater Diesel for an oil change, and afterward I noticed my oil pressure gauge was acting up. I brought it back the next day, and they quickly diagnosed the issue and replaced the oil filter and housing with OEM parts — at no extra charge. My truck can be a bit finicky, but they stood behind their work and made it right. Great service and great people — highly recommend!

We had our truck brought here. Couldn’t give me a date on when it would even get looked at (supposedly wouldn’t be for weeks).So we made other arrangements for another shop. When the tow truck driver arrived there was an outstanding bill. They charged for me labor and codes that we never asked them to pull. On top of that, the manager Thad never sent me the codes. Even after I called 3 times.

Manager Thaddeus and his diligent mechanics are a "can do" team who pays attention to the details. I had come in for AC service and worn coolant pipe connectors. Give the shop a try they'll do you right as they did for me. Shop is clean and very organized, located on the North bound service road of US19, 3 bay operation.
