Guy who answered the phone just kept repeating how he couldn't do anything until next week with an attitude. Despite telling him the time frame was okay and trying to get answers to the actual problem the repetition of hearing how he currently doesn't have time got old quickly and lead the conversation into the ground. I came to this location to pick up a U-Haul and was extremely disappointed with the service. When I arrived, the owner told me to wait a few minutes for his colleague to return. I waited 15 minutes. When the colleague finally came back, I was told he was “busy right now” and that he’d “get with you eventually” — no estimated timeframe, just vague responses. After another 20 minutes passed, I asked again when he might be available. Once again, all I got was, “I’ll get to you eventually.” I explained multiple times that I was in a rush, but he continued to dismiss it without any clear update. Ten minutes later, I asked again, and only then did he say it would be “another 15 minutes.” At that point, I simply didn’t have more time to waste, so I got into my car to leave. Robert Griffin is the Honest Abe of auto repair. Me and my family have went to Griffin's for nearly everything we need fixed and he has never overcharged or tried to upsell. In fact he is the mechanic that will tell you honestly if it's worth the fix or time for a new ride. Our son's are newly licensed drives and the 3rd generation to go to Griffin's bc they know they will get honest work, prices and answers.

Up in Lake George for the weekend and realized we had a major truck issue on Saturday morning. After being turned away by many other places, Bob Griffin & Sons took us in last minute, though they already had a full schedule. In spite of the fact that we were in a tough situation, and far from home, they did not try to take advantage of us financially. It seems hard to find people that actually care about providing good service to their customers. Don't hesitate to visit Bob Griffin & Sons if you are visiting the Lake George area and have an automotive issue!

We went there a d asked if they could change the tires on our RV camper, we told them exact size, they said no.problem . We made appointment and when we showed up within they said they could not do it, it was too big. We were all hooked up what a pain , thank God the people at Wilton Truck stop and repair were so wonderful, they took us right in.
