Smith's Garage--Earl

Last year I needed help and was highly recommended to Smiths Garage. After contacting the garage within a day or 2 of having my truck towed there I was told they would try to get to it “soon” and that the owners son had recently died. Nearly 6 weeks later I called back and was told they would be looking at my car within 3 days. I was called back during that time and assured they’d be able to do the work even though they didn’t have much experience with what described by the person on the phone as a basic job. Two weeks later I was called back that they had basically ruined my cylinder head but told I’d be able to have “until the first snow falls to remove my vehicle” and assured “without any fees”. Amazing experience! We broke down in town and they not only got our car in same day, fixed the next, but were beyond accommodating in helping us get to a hotel and making sure we were taken care of. I can't recommend this garage more!

Only went in for an inspection, very fast service and very nice person

I was traveling across New York when some plastic on the bottom of my car started dragging. I called a couple shops and they were full but Earl very graciously gave my a time slot within the hour. When I got there they were super kind and welcoming and Earl spent the time explaining to me what they were doing and even advised me what to do and not even replace it bec he said it wasn’t necessary. All in all it was a great experience, I would highly recommend going there if ur in need of a mechanic.

Smiths is my regular mechanic, they are super nice and friendly. The prices aren’t bad, and Earl always makes sure he calls me and asks me if he can do work were needed before he does it. If you tell him you’re on a budget he will make sure to stay under that budget and won’t fix a thing without permission. I’m so glad I was recommended by my boyfriends family to go here! I have started recommending Smiths to my brother and my family as well.
