I inherited a 1970 Jaguar from my mom. It was originally my uncle's car and he had parked it 25 years ago and stopped driving it. We have no idea why it was parked, or if it would even run. I had a local specialist work on the car, and verified that the engine was free, and would start - but the car would not run on its own power. I searched for multiple restoration/specialty shops and most if not all had a 2 year waiting list. One of the shops recommended Boffo Motors and I reached out to them. They too had a wait list as well, and my original goal was to at least be able to drive the car in and out of my garage or on/off a trailer on its own power. BEWARE!!!! Brought my jaguar vanden plas in for a O2 sensor and an inspection which I was charged 600.00 for I was robbed. I asked who I believe is the owner to check the transmission and was told it was fried and needed a new one and he could do it for 3500.00 I brought the vehicle to a transmission place and all the guy did was put a quart of fluid in and charged me just for the fluid 20bucks. Car ran beautiful. Then I cracked the windshield on it and called boffo for a price on a new one and was quoted 900.00 and I had to bring the car and leave it for a day . I had three rivers auto glass come to my house and put it in and paid 175.00 for it. We didn't do business with this place, but we did stop by to talk to the owner about his cars. We happened to spot a Morris Minor parked nearby and he let me gawk at it for a bit. He's a very nice guy and we probably will be going back for a project car in the future.
