Words cannot express the gratitude and appreciation for everyone involved in the Caregiving in Memory Care. My dad accompanied mom into memory care from Assisted Living in June 2024, and he passed away in August of 2024. Throughout the entire time of dad's failing health and passing and mom's adjustment to being alone, mom continues to receive patient, respectful, and loving care. The staff has also been so helpful and kind to us as we make our weekly visits, the activity director even including us in the fun, residential activities. We have noticed the caregivers working together to offer the best possible care even during stressful situations. Also, since we are from Central Oregon, we have been allowed to rent a vacant apartment at Bonaventure which has really helped. The med techs

My mother lived at Bonaventure Keizer Station for 1 1/2 years in both the assisted living and memory care areas, before recently passing away on hospice. The long-term care industry typically experiences a great deal of turnover, given the nature of the business, but once the upper management stabilized, there was more consistency with regard to staffing and care. We couldn’t have been happier. My mom loved living there, she loved her apartment, she loved the staff, and she enjoyed all of the activities that kept her busy. My one suggestion is that the corporate dietitian be more involved in overseeing that the food is prepared and presented well. I witnessed over the past 1 1/2 years multiple resident complaints about the food. So this is an area I feel that could use some work. But

Not impressed. My mom has lived in independent living here for a couple of years, and despite everyone complaining about the food, it seemed to be working out OK. Not the case in assisted living. We moved my mom there about 2 weeks ago, and despite several complaints, her personal phone number has still not been moved to her new room, so her friends cannot call her. Being a retired telephone "man," I know this should take about 5 minutes to accomplish. Despite moving from one room to another in the same facility, they required a 30 day notice to move out of the old room. Since you can't put in your notice and wait 30 days to request to the new room, as that room may not be available at that time, you are stuck having to snag the available room before it is taken, then get stuck paying for

This facility is amazing. I was a vendor at their holiday bazaar. The staff was very helpful, getting us anything we needed. McKenzie Owens, the executive director, was so nice. She obviously loves her job and the residents. I witnessed her engaging on a personal level with every resident she passed. Looking forward to next year!

I was so impressed with the memory care director, Jackie. She takes the time to care for people at their own pace with care and compassion. My team has appreciated her positive energy and always putting the needs of the resident first.
