Boubin Automotive Service

I have a 21 year old Mercedes SUV that is our families’ favorite chariot. Despite a quarter million miles on the clock, she still looks ad drives like new. Most parts have become unavailable for that year/model and that includes their complex mufflers and this one's number had finally come up. After a co-worker's urging, I contacted Boubins and scheduled an inspection to try and assemble a plan of action for a retro-fit. Kirk of Boubins managed the task and his plan of action costing was nicely under my anticipated outlay. No deposit/downpayment was required, the parts were ordered and everything fit together (they warned me that there might by a space issue with the required re plumbing). I went in to get tires I had bought online mounted,balanced and installed...they were going to charge me $236!!! Made the drive to Marion and got it done for $77. Just because you have a monopoly on tire mounting in Manchester doesn't give you the right to be a road pirate. Desperately hoping someone opens a tire shop in Manchester soon. I will NEVER step foot in this place again.

My wife went in for an alignment after being quoted $116. Got the bill and it was $164. She was told due to them inspecting it. No one told her about this cost. She paid it but mark my words. To me they will never service me or my family again and as far as I'm concerned that's crooked.

Friday afternoon on our way to Pikes Peak Iowa I noticed a screw in the sidewall of our travel trailer. I did a search for tire stores and found Boubin. I spoke with AJ and asked if he would have time to take a look at the tire and he told me to come on by. When I got there Nick looked at the tire and said it was beyond repair. They had trailer tires in stock and Nick quickly replaced the tire. From the phone call to the tire repair I don't think it took more than an hour... Was VERY fast and friendly too. I really appreciate you guys getting us back on the road so quick... I might add that they were very busy and were still able to give us amazing service! Thanks!

So I had them check a tire for a leak. They found a small nail in it and put a patch on. It costs me $30+ but two days later it was flat again. I returned and they made two more attempts to fix it but they were unsuccessful. I took the tire to a competitor and they said it was no longer repairable based on how the attempt was done. I bought two new tires and kept the one that was almost new as a spare. Well, I'm moving now and did not want yo move the tire so I went back yo Boubin yo ask them to take it. He wanted to charge me another $6. I understand the disposal fee but they had already charged me $30 even though they were unable to make the repair. I will never use them again nor recommend them.
