Set up to get my 03 ford blown engine gave me a $575 quote good price tells me must have tires, engine, transmission and original catalytic converter, driver gets out says it’s not original catalytic converter says it’s not worth what they quoted me tells me he won’t pay anything. I say that’s fine. I’ll get somebody else. He says well hang on. He takes a picture of it show it to me and still says it’s not the original catalytic converter. I tell him I’ve owned the vehicle for 17 years and it’s never been replaced and he said maybe the dealer replaced it I said that’s fine. I’ll get somebody else after he offered me $400 for it went inside the shop because it was parked at a mechanic shop and had two mechanics. Tell him it was the original catalytic converter and clamps on it and he still

Needed a car scrapped and they came the next morning. Thanks guys

2015 vw passat. They told me $700 on the phone. They come pick it up, "oh buddy, it has no catalytic converter so I'll give you $125". It has an catalytic converter. "Oh well it's after market and I won't make money off it. I'll give you $250." I'll call someone else. "No buddy, they won't take it. I'll give you $300." Long story less long, he gave me $500. I shouldn't have taken it but another junker said he'll be there in an hour and half and I didn't feel like waiting that long. Complete con artist. Please avoid. Edit: And about the owner response, was the $125 a fair offer? Was the $300 a fair offer? Or the $500 was a fair offer? Which offer was the fair offer?

He was very friendly and explained everything. He told us what he was doing and made sure to get the best for us and him alike.
