Brooks Towing Service

This company is such a scam. If I could give zero stars I would. Refusing to actually tow my vehicle when I called via roadside assistance through my insurance unless we paid an extra $225 on top of the $800+ my insurance allotted. My car sat for over 24 hours after when they said they would be dispatching a tow truck. HORRIBLE customer service. Do not use this company.

Sunday night my key was lost and I needed a tow from Idaho to Missoula. I was not at the car as there was no service at the trailhead, they said they could complete the job at 2 am that night. We paid over 800$ with there being a night time charge. They charged my card company immediately, then proceeded to call me and tell me the tow truck was broken down and they could not complete the tow till 11 am the next day. Next day rolls around and they repeatedly called me for confirmation that I still needed the tow as if I didn’t, they then said the tow truck driver was unavailable again and they could not complete the tow once again. They said on record the tow would be completed the morning of Wednesday. Two whole days after calling for a tow. Wednesday morning comes and they call me yet aga

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I would give this company a 0 if it were possible. My wife and I needed a winch out as we were stuck in snow/ice and called our roadside assistance. We were assigned Brooks Towing. This company did nothing but string us and the insurance company along for 7 hours!!! We finally had to find a different local company who responded within 1 hour and had us out in under 5 minutes. Within the first hour of being stuck Brooks called us and said the driver was on another tow and when he finished he would be on the way to us. They wanted pictures of our truck and where it was stuck which I sent. Then they sent a google map location and asked us to verify our location which we did.
