The good: Repaired rear bumper on a ‘19 Grand Cherokee. While the repair itself was done well, solid paint match, the additional service and lack of communication is their downfall. The bad: No night drop off available (what auto shop doesn’t have night drop off?) only accept cash (must be exact change) cashiers check, or credit card (they charge a service fee which is ridiculous) Zero communication, car was dropped off on a Monday, called the following Friday and was told the car had been ready since Wednesday. Michael stated they had to add $1,200 to a $1,400 bill because they struggled with recalibrating the sensors. I find it funny you can add additional charge due to incompetence. Instead of notifying about the additional charge, they went ahead and did all the work without notifying

I had a fantastic experience at Bruce's Body Shop! They worked on my Mustang after I was rear-ended, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Not only did they do a fantastic job fixing my bumper, but I was also surprised to find out they painted the entire diffuser at no additional charge. When I bought the car, there was a deep scratch on the diffuser, but I never had the time or money to fix it. My car looks better than ever, and I'm truly grateful for their exceptional service. I highly recommend Bruce's Body Shop for car repairs!

Really Disappointing. I had a great experience with Bruce's four years ago with my vehicle repair, but it seems things have changed there and now I will not return. Giving two stars because the actual body dent repair to our Honda Odyssey was done with high quality work; however, their communication and customer service was extremely frustrating. Michael the estimator was the only cordial employee I interacted with. Multiple other employees I spoke to acted annoyed and quite rude. This happened at initial payment and subsequently when I simply checked on my vehicle status, even though it was over a week after their original estimated finish date, and I was told by them to call and check-in. Later, when they finally said the repair was totally finished and were just waiting on final insura

Brand new Hyundai Santa Fe 2025 damaged made new again. This is most likely the best body shop in Richmond hands down. Even Pearson Hyundai recommends them over the West End dealership's collision center (which I also compared). The paint matching is incredible. Please bear in mind that good work takes time. Also, expect time delays on top of that possibly with dealing with the insurance companies due to Bruce's high standards and labor cost of getting the work done right. Be patient and get the smallest rental car if you have to get one. It will be worth the wait.

The painting was great although it took a long time. The problem was with paying the bill. A 4.5% service charge to use your debit/credit card is ridiculous. I understand the need of the business to offset processing fees, the percentage being charged is higher than what an average processor charges the business. Body shops do not have small bills so this percentage can equate to large dollars for the consumer. Your only other choice is cashiers checks (there’s a charge to purchase those) or old fashioned cash. And they don’t make change so you must be exact. By the time Bruce’s has counted the cash, secured it, taken it back to the bank and been charged by the bank for cash handling, the transaction has now cost the company more that the service charge.
