Budget Car Rental

Seriously rude people work there. Even after being talked to very rudely and still saying thank you when leaving, the response is “sure“, not you’re welcome. On another occasion, they didn’t honor our free upgrade from a full size to an suv claiming to not have any available, yet at that very same moment I was able to reserve an suv for the same time period. They just didn’t want to, not that they couldn’t. We had to return the car because the seatbelts in the backseat were in knots and we couldn’t untie them. They said they didn’t have anything clean available and to come back in a couple of hours after they had time to clean a replacement. Our experience was great. Their prices were far better than the location closer to us as was the customer service here. He even offered us an upgrade for a really excellent price. We returned the car on time, clean and fuel filled and we were in and out fast. The gentleman who helped us both times was very nice and he we’ll certainly going to drive the hour it takes us to get to Chico to rent from this location again.

Car was fine, check in was fine. However when I went to drop the car off they told me the car was very dirty and I needed to go to lowes to vacuum it out. I told them no I ordered an Uber already and they asked me to come back later tonight to vacuum it out?? When I told them I’m not from here they said okay the cleaning fee is $195?!? I’m sorry what? I’ve never been charged an extra cleaning fee. She charged me $35 instead ( thank god) but I’m still taken back with them asking me to go vacuum it? This is the car. Definitely won’t be going back there. God forbid I leave crumbs on the floor. 🙄

They like to upgrade you for more money and won’t help you or give you a refund if something goes wrong with the car. Instead of apologizing and offering a refund when I brought the car back early because of an issue, they argued with me that I didn’t know how the car worked.

Long storey ... did not have original. Ehiclebrequssted, gave a suv that needed maintenance, thus one is ok... waste of 3 hours changing vehicle, Chico guy was super!
