Budget Transmissions

After an exhaustive search finding no interest, Jim and Jim came through with a replacement transmission for my Volvo XC 70. Great work!

I was very pleased. My mechanic, who does not like working on transmissions, recommended me to budget transmissions. They have been in business for over 30 plus years, which is a good sign. And their lot was packed with cars to fix, another good sign. The owners are both named Jim, so sometimes it gets confusing at times which one you were talking too. However , they are both nice. They had my car up and running in 3 days. I was shocked because they had so many cars before me. I would highly recommend!!

I found myself with the need to have my car's transmission replaced within a week. I checked with several other shops and I was advised that they couldn't even diagnose the problem for at least a week. I contacted Budget Transmission and they were able to diagnose and replace the transmission within my time restriction. They were very friendly and they went above my expections to keep me informed. Clearly they were extremely busy, but they recognized my situation and accommodated my needs. I would highly recommend them.

I had a horrible experience with this shop first they told me it would take about 2weeks turned out they had my car for a month when i got my car back there was damage to the front that they don’t know how it happened but I’m guessing it was do to the no storage space for cars and pulled it to close to another car my opinion i got a rebuilt transmission i payed 4700$ for my car Cadillac that road so smooth and noiseless now sounds like a motorcycle so since i have gotten my car back all different things seem to be wrong there damage to my screen on my dash witch they did electrical work on my mirrors on the driver side does not move in or out with out u doing it with your had my floor lights are now very dim and blurry looking i went back to them 2x to get help with the engine light comi

I drove away from the shop feeling like my truck is ready to go another 100,000 with a rebuilt transmission and torque converter. With the cost of trucks these days I feel I made the right choice taking to Budget Transmission. They guarantee their work for 12 months or 12,000 miles. Good quality men that do good quality work. Very satisfied !
