Budget Truck Rental

Made a reservation for a truck rental for 9:00.. Got there this morning and they had no trucks. Didn't know when one would be there. Not a happy camper.

I reserved a Budget Truck through this business one month before our move to a new state. I received a call from the manager of this establishment who very unconcernedly let me know 2 days before our move that they don’t have the truck we reserved, or ANY moving trucks. This is so unprofessional and this is not how you conduct a business. If you can RESERVE a truck, it means a truck is available and held for you on that day. You don’t just call your customer 2 days before their move and say “oh well we don’t have it”. We will now be out hundreds of more dollars trying to get a last minute Uhaul who actually has a reservation guarantee. I’m so disappointed that this is how business is conducted with this company and I’ll let everyone I know not use this company. Thanks for causing some extr

We rented a 26’ truck to move. We were late to move into our new rental due to the previous tenants not being out when we supposed to get our keys, so we were already having a bad week. It was not communicated to us that we wouldn’t get our keys when originally planned. Therefore we weren’t able to return our truck on a Thursday as scheduled. Instead, we had to drop it off on a Saturday morning. We called this location to let them know we were on our way but they did not answer the phone. Hours posted they are open until 11am on Saturday. We arrived at 10:30. There was no one there and the door was locked. We dropped the keys in the overnight box. They proceeded to charge our card on file for the entire weekend. Just rented form this place was supposed to get 20 percent off and only got 10 and they also charge 200 dollars for insurance and was not aware of that. I will go back to Uhaul .

I will never do business with budget again. For starters, they canceled my pick up. Did not offer me anything else? I called Customer service was placed in touch with an inventory manager. Who found another vehicle when I arrived to the store? It was closed. I was told. That my renewed reservation time was 1130. The business closed at 11. So I was stuck 30 miles away from home.
