Budget Truck Rental

The absolute WORST truck rental location I have ever worked with. Paul is unprofessional and should not be employed by this company anymore. My husband and I were new to area due to him being active duty in the military. We unfortunately were limited with drop off locations for budget. We had no choice but to do business with this location. Paul lied about our drop off time and tried to over charge us. We are not dishonest people, we dropped the rental truck off after hours the day it was due. Paul then claimed he didn’t “see” the truck on the lot until two days later which is a complete lie. DO NOT do business with this man. I can not believe someone would be so deceitful. My advice to Budget would be to look for new employees.

Great help great people when Penske bailed on us we where forced to go to Budget Columbus best thing we could have done. They went out of there way to help us stayed late and got us what we needed. Do not know why people talk bad about this location in reviews. We rent trucks often and have used them many times. Call the office location they will go get a truck for you if they don't have one they have twice for us so far. Simply the best in Columbus Mississippi bar none!! Thank you for the help we look forward to doing business in the future.

I made a reservation online with Uhaul and the next day they called to tell me that the closest dealer was 45 miles away. I was devastated and upset being that I only had one day yo move. My brother in law told me to call Budget and sure enough they had a truck available and it was larger than the Uhaul I originally ordered. The staff here locally was amazing and I am so grateful for their help today. I will use Budget over Uhaul for all of my future moves!

How is this place even in business? Terrible custom service. My family came 4 hours out to come pick up a truck we RESERVED and the place wasn’t answering our calls. We called the headquarters and they said the place should be open and they see our reservation. We called the place one more time and a guy answered saying it was closed was nothing he could do for us. Why accept our reservation if you’re closed that day? Why do the hours still say they are open? The guy on the phone was very unprofessional. This whole debacle has been an insult to my family’s time. Just know you lost a good customer today.

Had my reservation booked for almost a freaking month just to get a call a hour before I’m suppose to pick up the truck that they don’t have a truck!!! What is the purpose of a reservation then if you not gone have it! They have officially lost my business!
