My wife and I have been taking our cars to Chip for over 30 years. Great service, great price and VERY knowledgeable about auto repair. And Kevin will keep that level of service going when it's time for Chip to retire. They're both great guys who really care about their customers. THREE thumbs up (if I had a third thumb).

Chip is amazing! He is never satisfied until everything is 100%, he is incredibly knowledgeable and he is just a pleasure to work with. I brought in my minivan with noise coming from the front assembly and after fixing that he noticed another noise from the rear (I missed that) so he went the extra mile to repair that too saving me from issues and $ down the road (pun intended). His prices are very fair and he doesn’t nickel and dime. After going to another great shop for years and years I thought I would never find anyone I could trust again. Thank goodness I found Chip and Kevin!

I’ve been taking my autos to CG for more than 20 years now. Chip and his assistants are highly skilled and competent. Mechanics aren’t cheap, but this business stands by its work. Ive known him to replace a faulty engine he installed at his own expense. It doesn’t get better than that.

I live in Milpitas area and have ha.d many problems with the app as is car that I recently got in November of last year. I have been to three other mechanics who have failed to do what Chip and Kevin recently did. I had a list of things that they completed and fixed one at a time. I feel that I have finally found a place that I can trust and that They will do a good job. If you’re looking for a good mechanic I highly recommend them.
