Caliber Collision

After hitting a deer and having some serious damage to the front passenger side of my vehicle, my insurance company sent me to Caliber Collision in Colonie. I have to say, I’m very pleased with the whole experience… from the receptionist to the experts… it was great. They gave me a 3 week timeframe and they kept me informed daily with a text message telling me where they were with the work on my vehicle. The also knew that I was paying out of pocket for a rental and they were able to complete my repairs 1 week earlier than expected. This was greatly appreciated and saved me quite a bit of money for the rental. I would definitely use Caliber in the future. I would also highly recommend them to others.

Caliber did a great job on my vehicle. The process was a roller coaster though. However, they did make up for it from paying for my rental car after the insurance ceased to cover it to continue the work. I'm pleased with their commitment to get the job done right and thoroughly.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I came to this location because a snow plow backed into my parked car and because it had a good rating. However, I really wish I did not come here because it filled me with so much anxiety, anger, and frustration. When I first got my car back, I noticed things that were off and I had to go back 8-9 times. Each time I went back, they messed something else up which resulted me going back. They claimed that they had “fixed” the things concerning me, however it was a lie to get me on my way. Things popping out of place, white residue stains (which I will include), and even a front bumper insulator broken, which was not from the accident but only AFTER I received the car back from them. They shoved it back in like a jigsaw puzzle thinking I wouldn’t notice, but

I am very happy with my full experience, from the time I dropped my car off for repairs to when I picked up my car the team was very professional and courteous. They kept me informed about the entire process while they had my car. When I picked my car up there was a small problem, they were super apologetic and fixed it right away while I waited.

They were great and extremely easy to work with. I never could have afforded this fix on my own but working with them through insurance was a breeze. They were very communicative, excellent customer service, and gave me my car back even cleaner than I left it. Highly recommend using them for body work if your insurance allows.
