Canoga Carburetor

I came here based on recommendations from a few car clubs and had high expectations. I brought in a fuel pump for my 1964 Chevy to be rebuilt, which unfortunately turned out to be a very disappointing decision. After getting it back and installing it, the pump produced no fuel pressure at all. I attempted to prime it multiple times, but it still would not deliver any fuel. When I contacted the shop to explain the issue, I was told that there is no warranty on rebuilt fuel pumps and that it had been rebuilt to the correct specifications. The call ended abruptly, and despite several follow-up attempts, I was unable to get any further response. In the end, I had to install an electric fuel pump just to get the vehicle running and move it. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop.

I have a 66 Mustang shipped from Minnesota. I brought it it a classic car Mechanic in Canoga Park and performed safety upgrades including a new double barrel Holley carburetor. The car sounded and ran like a wild black stallion. However, once it got hot, it would stall. I brought i back and had the mechanic test drive it since it was under warranty. The car stalled on him. He adjusted the idle to no avail. He said it might need new points and distributor. He said about $1,400. I had already spent over $6k with a new carburetor. I decided to sell the clunker. One guy test drove it and said I might need a throttle plate adjustment. I read about Mustangs needing those adjustments. So he low balled me and he would perform the adjustment. He came by our shop and asked us to use his business, so we gave him a carburetor to rebuild for a 1966 Lincoln Continental we're restoring. Unfortunately, it didn't work properly, and when we took it back to have him fix what he didn't fix the first time, he wanted to charge us the same amount of money he originally charged to rebuild it again. He doesn't guarantee his work and this is the second time we've had the same issue with him. We won't ever use his service again and would not recommend him.

Great communication with the seller and great results. Carb looked and ran like factory and core charge was refunded. Will do business again!

I am so happy I found Aram at Canoga Carb. He is very clearly someone who has decades of experience and is a master at his craft. He rebuilt my carb quickly, and it looked better than any brand new one. After it was installed, I brought my 73 Dodge to Aram to inspect the work and he looked it over thoroughly and helped me diagnose a separate issue.
