Canvas Car Wash

Good coin car wash with convenient location and excellent results make this my go-to place for keeping my car clean and shiny. Saturday and sunday super busy from 10am 6pm.

EDIT! Went back today, all drainage has been fixed. Had a wonderful experience. Definitely recommend. Canvas Car wash just opened. New vacuums, new sprayers. Best and newest "Do it yourself" carwash I've been to around Charlotte. Overall excellent experience here. since it just opened there are some pretty severe drainage issues causing deep puddles currently. I spoke to the owner and he is currently working to get these resolved. (I will update my review when I return if the drainage has not been fixed) Credit card and cash/quarters accepted (cash needs to be converted to quarters at the on-site exchange). The rate was fair I think for this type of thing. $7 got me about 13min or so, which was all I needed to get my car hosed down soaped up and scrubbed.

Updated!! Brush scratched my entire brand new truck. Will have to pay thousands to fix it now. Do not use the self serve bays. Update: Yes, you have the area where you can wash your own car. The second bay foaming brush scratched ever inch of my brand new 2026 truck. I just had to pay to over a thousand dollars to have my truck paint corrected.

After searching the internet for what seems to be the hardest thing to find in Charlotte.. a self service car wash.. this was the best reviewed one. After reading the negative reviews, I had all faith that I could “read instructions” as the owner states is everyone’s problem. Vaccines worked fine, Tri foam wax and ceramic coatings are not filled, so don’t waste your time doing those, and the touchless air dryer.. is that a joke? It would take a century to dry your entire vehicle.. I used my card and so far have had no issues, but we will see once the pending charges go through. However, be aware that there are two different directions and ARE highly misleading in the wash bays, photos attached. Quarter exchange machine gave me $1.50 for $2, and the air fresher vending machine ate my remai
