Capital Car Wash - Charlotte

This is one of the overall carwash around. They have numerous automatic washing bays, self wash, they even have a car dryer for when you are done, if you would like. The only downside would be, they need to install more/ get bigger trash cans as current doesn't meet standard. As every time I go there, trash is left next to the vacuum area on top of the receptacle. I would recommend this carwash for sure! Good job guys 👍

I didn’t look up this car wash’s reviews before going because I have used it for YEARS and been satisfied. Today, I got 4 tokens to use for future car washes and the tokens they issued I CAN’T USE. They just took my 20.00 and when I contacted them they said that tokens can be used in Waverly. They offered me more expensive codes for fewer car washes to reimburse my dollar amount, at the equivalent of 2 washes for 12.00 each instead of 4 washes, but when asked they did the right thing and gave me 4 washes. I requested that they disable the token machine, and then read a review that someone else had THE SAME problem 4 WEEKS ago! How long does it take to fix? I’m obviously not a frequent user or I would have had this problem sooner. How many people have lost money on this in the meantime? The

Everytime we’ve used this carwash we have left unhappy and with dirty vehicles still. The touchless one is much easier with having a two year old, but never touches the back half of my car. The front is always clean but never the back windshield, the back hatch, or the back tires. I have a third row vehicle but not extended rear end, so shouldn’t be any reason it’s missing the same areas consistently. (Paid for the top wash in cash) Will mention tho, this time when I went thru there was a brush before paying so you could ask your windshield. I did like that but didn’t realize I’d have to do my whole back hatch to completely clean my car. I was passing through & got the 15$ automatic wash. It says to keep driving forward until the sign changes to stop but it never did so I kept slowly going forward I must’ve been on the track wrong but it didn’t notify me of this so I kept creeping & just stopped on my own & idk what happened but I had soap residue all over my black jeep.. there was no one around anywhere to ask for my money back but it definitely did not wash my car

They have a token machine that gives you 4 for $20. I always get the tokens for the touchless wash, but they replaced the payment service with something that doesn't accept tokens and failed to notify the customers. All it would take is a note next to the dispenser letting people know that they aren't accepted in the touchless wash anymore. Instead they took the dishonest route and let people like me get ripped off, buying tokens for a service that no longer accepts tokens
