I had a fantastic experience at Joe Machens Ford! I brought in my F-150 Lightning for a cabin air filter replacement and tire rotation, and the entire service was completed in under 45 minutes—super efficient! The staff was professional, friendly, and kept me updated throughout the process. The waiting area was also extremely comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, making the short wait even better. I really appreciate how smooth and quick the whole visit was. Highly recommend Joe Machens Ford for anyone looking for quality service done right!
I had an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. When I made the appointment I told the service agent I would be using my points for payment. She said she would make note of that. When I got there I was seated expecting a short time frame as it was routine maintenance with an appointment. An hour a fifteen minutes later I had a service agent tell me they had looked at the vehicle and noted my battery was bad. He asked if i wanted them to replace it. I asked how much and he said around $225. I declined thinking I could get it cheaper somewhere else. They then started on my oil change and rotation. Forty-five minutes later they had it done. I needed new tires for my F250 Super Duty. The factory 275s with straight tread were about done. I was worried about upsizing to 325's and messing with my warranty. Matt (Parts) took the time to let me shop through his screen to find the exact tires, size and tread pattern, I wanted. Matt then gave me a quote and the correct number to call Ford directly and verify my warranty wouldn't be compromised. Ford gave me a case number and verified the size change would NOT void my warranty. I went to see Michael (Service) and he pulled up Matt's quote, said to drop my truck off the next morning and by that afternoon... I had new tires and smile as I drove it home!!! We can't say enough about our car buying experience with Kieth Schoolfield, our salesperson, at Joe Machens Capitol City Ford. Keith was extremely knowledgeable about all of the vehicles. We felt no pressure to buy. He was very friendly, gracious, and patient with us even when we totally changed our minds about the vehicle we actually wanted to purchase, the first, already detailed and ready to go. Keith actually came in on his day off to make sure things went smoothly and that we were happy with our purchase. At the end, we drove away in our dream car, the one that best fits our lifestyle and in my favorite color, green. We love our new Bronco Sport and we can't thank Keith and the other friendly staff enough for everything they did.
I have been to Capital City Ford twice and both times has not been a good experience. I took my Edge in to have the battery checked as there were things happening that indicated the battery was failing. I was still just under the bumper to bumper warranty. They said it was fine. 3 weeks later it failed and I had to purchase a new battery on my own. 2nd time I was in there for an oil change and tire rotation. They kept trying to talk me into other service I did not need or want. I was quoted around $125 for the oil change and $50 for the rotation. even tho I had an appointment it took over 30 minutes before they even started work.
