Hands down, Dan was the most kind and generous mechanic I’ve ever worked with. Come in to CCC for service, leave with a friend and your new trusted mechanic! I came in with an engine failure on my van (230k+ miles) and he identified the issue right away. He provided the information and discussion needed to help me decide what to do with the van. Ultimately I decided to not fix the repair for such an old van and have it towed for salvage. To help me retrieve my Thule off the roof, Dan went above and beyond and offered to work with a locksmith to get the necessary key to remove my 20 year old Yakima roof racks that were otherwise stuck on my old car. I give these guys 5 stars. I really feel like they've gone above and beyond to be honest and fair and treat me like a human being as a customer. I was not really sure what was wrong with my car. These guys weren't going to waste my money on something that wasn't necessary. And I appreciate that. Basically they discovered that the issue was the fact that the battery was not fully charged when it was sold to me. Which is apparently something normal that battery companies do to extend the shelf life of the battery. But what I did not know is that when a battery is brand new basically you need to drive around with it just like you would if you got a jump, to let your car's alternator charge it. They said it's because it's such a cold climate here, it can be necessary.
