I’ve always respected this dealership and have had good experiences in the past, but today left me very disappointed. My vehicle has been having an intermittent starting issue. When I picked it up today, it was working fine, but after running a quick errand on my way back home, the car started doing the exact same thing again. Because of that, I returned to the dealership to report the issue. When I explained what happened, the mechanic, Sergio, said: “I’m not saying you’re lying, but I need to see it.” That comment felt very dismissive. Anyone in the car industry knows intermittent issues are common, so implying I needed to “prove” it was unprofessional and unsettling. That phrase REALLY means: “I don’t believe you,” and it directly questions my credibility. No customer should feel that
