Carpenters Auto Service and the people who work there are truly heaven sent! Renee, Richard, and Joey are completely AWESOME!!! I appreciated how transparent and honest they were. They made me feel completely comfortable and confident in their knowledge and skills. The atmosphere is welcoming and you can really sense their pride in being able to provide stellar auto service and impeccable customer service. As a native Charlottean, Carpenters Auto has been repairing and servicing my vehicles for more than 20 years. I don't think you can find a more friendly, honest, and knowledgeable auto shop in this town than Randy, Joey, Rene, and the rest of their team. How I wish the rest of the companies I work with were this good! 1/09/26 It’s been a while since I updated my review on Carpenter Tire and Auto. They continue to provide great, friendly, and professional service. The best of it all is that I know from decades of experience with these folks that I can trust them to suggest only repairs that are needed and nothing else. They’re the best!

Carpenters Auto has been our family’s go to auto shop. They have always provided me excellent service, honest advice on repair options, and kept our vehicles safely on the road. We have two (07 dodge, 06 odyssey) that are daily drivers with high high mileage. Carpenters keeps the angst away by keeping these road ready. Great people, great communication, great advice.

I have had wonderful experiences with Carpenters Auto. I have been in Charlotte for almost 20 years and always took my vehicles to the dealerships for maintenance until I found this place. They are very professional and will make sure everything is done and done right. I have been coming here for over a year for all my maintenance and they are very reasonable!! If they find something that needs be taken care of they tell you and how soon it should be done. I definitely would recommend them to anyone that needs work done on there vehicle!!
