Update- The district manager called and made things right. They apologized and issued a full refund. Pro tip- the warranty follows the battery, not the purchase. I purchased a $250 battery from Carquest, and unfortunately it failed just over a year later. The battery was still under warranty, but when I returned to the store, the supervisor refused to honor the warranty or replace it. What’s most frustrating is not the battery failure — things happen — but the lack of support and refusal to stand behind a product that was clearly covered. At this price point, I expected better customer service and accountability. For comparison, I went to Costco and purchased a higher-quality battery for $135. My DieHard battery was not performing very well. I took it to carquest to have them look at it. They put it on a load and they exploded my battery.. when I asked about a warranty they told me because I can't prove that I bought the DieHard battery from carquest. They're not going to warranty it.. they are the only people that sell DieHard batteries. Not to mention they just wrapped my battery up in a bag and sent me on my way. Pretty crummy to have a battery that you guys warranty, but you have to prove that you bought it when it's your battery manufacturer. And give it back to me in the condition you did is outrageous.

I had such a great experience at Carquest in Helena, MT. The manager went above and beyond to help me out—not once, but twice! First, I was trying to get a dent out of my mom’s car, and he not only sold me the right suction tool, but also took the time to explain how to use it and what he thought would work best. Then he helped me track down the right spark plug for my dad’s old mower after another store had sold him one meant for a vehicle. I took it home, and sure enough, the 20-year-old mower started right up! Super helpful, knowledgeable, and kind—great customer service all around. Highly recommend!

Worst experience ever and worst part is it was the manager who was involved. Won't ever go back. Called thurs july 25th to order some spark plugs, was told they had to be ordered and was giving price for plugs plus shipping. I was then told they'd be there fri if not fri Monday. Awesome. Friday came nothing so this morning Monday the 29th i call just to see amd was immediately told no way anything was coming today because they didn't get truck only on fri amd sat. OK but these are coming ups. She then tried to not act rude amd sarcastic. Her name was GINA BTW.. I made my last attempt at 330pm to ask again weee they even ordered. That's when GINA get it right GINA proceeds to tell me she don't control ups. That I'm living because there isn't a truck on Mondays. But she woukd call me wen t

I purchased a Small $17 can of paint for a small repair project. It splattered the paint. I kept hoping it would level out but it didn't. Brought the defective can, receipt and pictures of the flawed spray result. Since I used most of the can, (trying to fix it), Gina denied My return. So, advice to other customers; go someplace else where you will hopefully be treated better than "very unpleasant" Gina and Carquests very unfair customer service.
