If you plan on using this mechanic you better bring a lawyer and make sure any warranties are in your name through the company selling the warranty not in a company's name that doesn't own the vehicle. We had them install a transmission, we paid and they even had one of our parents pay without our knowledge told us it had a 1 year 30 thousand mile warranty Carter even printed us off proof of our warranty when we asked because the first recipe didn't say anything about a warranty even though they had all been selling us a warranty, and he gladly printed it off, then when it went out before the year they wanted $1500 for labor and materials, then while trying to get the warrantied trans replacement we was informed the work we paid for on a vehicle fully in our name was put under someone else

I have had to use Cater’s services on several occasions. If I am looking for automotive repair, I won’t trust anyone else. Cater and his team do exceptional work. They always do their work in a timely manner and at a reasonable price. I have never had to wait very long for my repair work to be completed. I am not at all automotive-savvy, so having a service center that can perform this work for me quickly and respectfully is always a plus. I also have never had to make a return trip for the same problem.

Did an outstanding job installing my monster triple disc clutch on my high hp Camaro. Has been beat on and abused with no issues. Would recommend Carters for clutch jobs!

Five stars ... a professional, fast, and caring shop. We were traveling through this town on our way to Grandma's house and had a road hazard damage to a new tire. It was 4:30 and nobody else could or would help us, not even the actual tire shops. The owner Gerald and son Hunter kept the Carter Automotive shop open late in order to quickly repair our tire so that we could finish our journey. All this, in spite of the fact that they could not sell us a tire, and a repair is a low cost service. They just cared, enough, to ensure that we had a good experience and were not stranded. The repair lasted for days until we could order and obtain a new tire later in Columbia Tennessee, so we know they do great work.
