After my rust free, unicorn of a Tundra was totaled by a distracted driver, I was feeling pretty defeated about finding another clean Toyota. I found Carter's cars and noticed many of their vehicles are clean and from down south. I contacted them regarding a rust free 4runner in great shape and got in touch with Austin, who was able to immediately advise me on what I'd need to drive the car home the next day. Austin and the whole staff at Carter's were super professional, communicative, and friendly. I showed up the following morning and drove my new 4runner off the lot 3 hours later. Can't recommend these guys enough - I'll certainly be going back for regular services on my car as well, as their labor billing rate is significantly lower than any competitors in the area. They know everything there is to know about their inventory and provide comprehensive reviews of all the cars you might be interested in. Buying a car is always an anxious process for me, given that a car salesman as a profession does not have the best reputation. Thankfully, Austin made my car-buying experience as easy as it could possibly be, while setting me up for the kind of vehicle I needed, rather than trying to upsell me. He was transparent in all aspects of the process, knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions, as well as being friendly and engaging. This isn't a typical car dealership; this is a car dealership that cares about the people who go there, and their vehicles. They also have significantly lower rates for service compared to other dealerships in the area, so they're going to get my business when I need service on the Jeep I just bought. I don’t usually write negative reviews, but this experience warrants one. The vehicles on the lot are clean and rust-free; however, our experience with customer service was extremely disappointing. My husband and I purchased a vehicle from this dealership and were repeatedly given inaccurate information. At the time of sale, we were told the car had remote start. The salesman even googled how to use the remote start with an OEM fob. When we tried to use it at home, it did not work. We then went to a Toyota dealership with the VIN and were informed that the vehicle does not have remote start.
