Carvana

I had a very frustrating experience with Carvana. The vehicle I received was delivered without antifreeze, making it unsafe to drive. As a result, I had to spend an entire day at a service shop for pressure testing immediately after delivery just to make the car roadworthy. This should never happen with a vehicle that is advertised as inspected and ready to drive. On top of that, I discovered a golf-ball–sized hole punched into the plastic panel on the rear door, which was not disclosed in the vehicle listing. I submitted a claim to have this addressed, and it was denied. When I called to raise these concerns, the only resolution offered was to return or exchange the vehicle. My order got delayed 2 times resulting in a 3 week delivery delay. They wouldn’t tell me why for the 1st delay. 2nd delay was a broken side view mirror, further delaying. Bad luck for me I guess, but there was never any transparency to the customer. Would avoid if you’re thinking about Carvana and stick with a Car Dealer.

I bought a 2013 BMW 550i from Carvana that had been traded in to a BMW dealer and resold without disclosure of a known N63/N63TU engine oil‑consumption defect. Carvana failed to identify or remedy the issue, sold the vehicle as‑is, and provided no meaningful documentation or transparency about outstanding manufacturer campaigns. Customer service has been slow and unhelpful when asked to address the problem, leaving me with unexpected repair bills and a car that was misrepresented at sale. This level of negligence and lack of accountability is unacceptable — I expect Carvana to either pay for the required repairs or offer a full refund. One star.

Horrible car buying experience. My order was delayed less than 12 hours before my delivery appointment for some reason they refused to provide, even when pressed. I was told the inspection uncovered a concern but their advocates refused to tell me what the concern was or who/how I could escalate the issue. As the new owner, don't I deserve to know what was deemed enough of a concern to delay my vehicle's delivery less than 12 hours before I was told to expect it? Super shady and concerning. I won't be using Carvana again.

Sold our old vehicle to Carvana, and was done in 5-10 minutes. Gave us the price we were estimated with no haggling once we drove the 80 miles to the drop off location. I was actually expecting some haggling due to some minor cosmetic issues but gave no grief about it.
