Certified Transmission

This place is wonderful! I don't post many reviews, but they deserve a good one! I have used them a few times over the last decade for different vehicles and they are always totally honest and do a great job. Today I had a "scheduled preventive maintenance" for a differential fluid change that a VW car dealership said I needed done right away when I got my last oil change, but I didn't trust the salesperson at the dealership. I'm so glad I took my car into Certified transmission instead! They checked out my car and said the earliest I needed to do something for preventative maintenance wasn't for almost 35k more miles than my car had on it currently!! Got sent here by Virgil’s in LS, was going for a transmission and differential service and got recommended to go here instead. Virgil’s stated “that they can do then but if I’m going through and extend warranty incase the transmission needed to be replaced that I should go here” and I was very pleased. Got me in and out ASAP and recommended a service instead of a full replacement first so that my warranty company would see that I tried to get a service done before a new transmission. Whatever the case misty was very pleasant to speak with and got me taken care of. I will be going back if I need more services done. Great place and very knowledgeable staff! 2019 Chevy 1500

I took my car to Certified Transmission in Grandview, MO and they were very upfront and honest with what my car needed. Steve took the time to search options to replace my transmission. Unfortunately, the transmission for my car is on back order so I wasn't able to get the service performed at this time. I will definitely return to this location in the future when needing transmission services. Friendly staff, highly recommend.

Great experience. I dropped the truck off one day, they determined the transmission needed to be replaced, ordered the new one, and had it installed the next day. I found the cost to be less than I was expecting, so another great surprised. The staff was very friendly and the manager, Steve, kept me well informed, explained all the steps involved and was very thorough explaining the warranty. I highly recommend.

I’ve always heard really good things about Certified Transmission. So when my transmission was acting up there was no question where to take it. They were professional, courteous and very proficient. I took my truck in on a Wednesday morning and it was done by that Friday afternoon. It did need a new transmission which I figured but they also found two other issues. They were able to fix those as well and in the long run saved me money. My truck runs better than it ever has before, thank you Certified Transmission!
