Hi, I have a 1979 AMC Jeep CJ7. I’ve owned her for 44 years. For the last three years I was overseas and placed her in storage. Upon returning some of the gaskets ,oil pan, main bearing seals, had gone bad. I called a half dozen places in the Greenville and surrounding area, no one would do the job due to age. I usually do my own work but due to health issues I can no longer work on her. A respected friend told me to go to Chans transmissions. So glad I followed his advice. They needed the vehicle a few days and they gladly agreed to keep her stored inside during the overnight stays. Cassey was great to work with, they are extremely professional keeping me informed of progress. I had found one other place in Pickens that works only on jeeps, their work failed after two days when I ultimate

Great work, and if they make a mistake like all of us humans tend to do, then Chans automotive makes it right. Best transmission and rear differential mechanics out there. You won't be disappointed, you will be happy. They are fair, honest, reasonable quick, and always and I do mean ALWAYS they stand behind their work.

They got our family vehicle back on the road quickly and even stayed a few extra minutes late so I could pick up at closing!
