Marvin is very thorough and communicated with me throughout the extensive repair. He provided photos of the work in progress and explained the steps he was taking. My engine needed to be completely removed and opened in order to refinish damaged components. There are very few mechanics in the area who can do this kind of work: Marvin is very talented. Got the car back and it runs like new again.

Had engine failure in my 2016 VW GTI and was recommended to Marvin at MH Performance. The job was complicated as it was under a used car warranty and my usual mechanic refused to work under their conditions (I don't necessarily blame them, it's hell). Marvin agreed to do the job after making sure I understood that it was a gamble on whether or not they would cover repairs. He got into the engine, found out the problem was actually misdiagnosed by my original mechanic, and in the end got an entirely new engine from Volkswagen covered. Brand new EA888! Blew my mind. Marvin was great to work with. He was super knowledgeable about my exhaust issues and the dash codes. He helped me choose a new exhaust and discovered some other issues to address when the car was up on the lift. My M4 is now running and sounding better than ever.
