I just recently bought a car here and there customer service is excellent shout out to Ron who helped me out in every way possible and made the car buying experience as smooth as possible definitely recommend them for your next car and definitely recommend asking for Ron!

I was looking to upgrade from my Cherokee and get into a grand Cherokee. After calling about 20 dealerships and even wasting my time at a few, I called Chapman. Fred and Sid were more than helpful and gave me a fantastic price that was within my budget at a time when covid and flooding affected inventories in the tri state area. Within days the car was ready to be picked up and the experience at the dealership was quick and efficient. I am still waiting for them to do their part with the NY Dmv but that should not be problematic. I had to travel a bit to get there but it was well worth it for the price. I highly recommend them and only regret that I didn't call them first.

I purchased my new truck from this dealership and waited approximately 8-9 months from order date to pickup date. The only positive thing I can say about this dealership is they honored 4% below invoice; however, they would not honor Price Protection that Ford automatically gives. What they do is receive the money from Ford after they sell you your vehicle. My guess is to offset the costs they lose from the 4% off invoice. The other reason they offer 4% below invoice, which they were open about, is to increase monthly allotments from Ford. The fact that they tell you they will not honor Price Protection but still collect the money from Ford is a very shady practice! Poor customer service. I had to call every 3 days for delivery updates and was told it would be ready in another 3 days. No proactive follow-up. Simple front end damage took over 2 weeks to be repaired. Update July 2020: The customer service greatly improved after talking to one of Chapman's managers, unsure of it was due to my less than stellar review. I would be willing to try them again and determine if their lack of customer service was due to insurance & covid related issues.

I contacted this dealership as they offered a great price online. I also contacted another dealership to compare pricing on vehicles. The other dealership warned me about Chapman's "Bait & Switch" technique with offering a low price online and then not honoring it in person. I asked for a price confirmation from my Chapman Sales Representative prior to making an appointment and his second price came back more than $5,500 over his first offer. He then refused to offer me a breakdown of the new pricing and insisted I come in to discuss. So feel free to go with them if you're into being duped. If not, avoid like the plague.
