Charlie's Complete Auto Service

A month ago I brought my 2011 Chevy Avalanche into Charlies (in limp mode). I had never used the shop before, but right from the start Charlie and his staff made it feel like I was dealing with friends, rather than your standard shop experience. They outlined everything right from the start and I'm happy to say, there were no surprises come pick up time. The shop provided a full write up and warranty for the work. I waited to write this to make sure all was good. Well, here we are a month later and everything's going strong. Looks like I found a new shop for myself and one that I'm happy to recommend to my friends.

They were incredibly thorough while still getting everything done quickly — which is hard to find these days. Charlie’s truly feels like a hidden gem. It’s refreshing to find an honest, reliable, and affordable mechanic when those qualities are becoming so rare. I can't say enough good things about Charlie's Complete Auto Service. I was having issues with one of my tires and Advanced Auto parts referred me to them. I meet a gentleman named Kyle who was very helpful, knowledgeable and kind. He had one of the service guys look at it to see if it could be repaired? Although it was not repairable, Kyle explained why I needed a new tire. I couldn't afford a tire from them at the time, so I bought a tire from a discount store. As a woman, I appreciated the time he took with me. Since my experience was worth keeping them on my list, I went back again. This time for something more serious. I initially saw them a year ago because my car had a severe oil burning problem. They were upfront about the issue and encouraged me to pursue repair under recall from the dealer for no cost. They also uncovered faulty repairs from the previous mechanic I used and informed me work my prior mechanic claimed they had performed was in fact never done. At that point I said I am never going back to them and will stick with Charlie's. I have to drive 30 minutes to get there but it is well worth the trip. I ended up having to get a new vehicle but their honesty is a rare quality nowadays. Now Charlie is helping me with preventive maintenance regarding my new vehicle. He really is a great guy. I had my car serviced a few weeks ago. I was very impressed! They were honest and straightforward with me. They even went out of their way to have my car finished earlier than expected so I can get to work. I really appreciated their sincerity and kindness. Thank you! I will be back again.
