Chevrolet Service at Jim Trenary

This shop does not care if they destroy your paint or ceramic coating. When getting my oil changed they probably use a fender protector that was covered in oil and it ate through the ceramic coating just where they touched. They called me once to see how the service went and I told them about this issue and was told I would receive a call to discuss, never happened and its been a few months now. In the picture you can see everywhere besides the fender the water beads up as intended with ceramic coatings but not where they touched it with oil on the driver fender. Very disappointing and about to have it fixed and I will be sending them the bill. This car still looks better than the day I drove it off their lott. Its been paint corrected and coated twice with the last recoat done February 20

I’ve been bringing my 2019 Silverado to this location for service since I purchased it, and one thing I’ve consistently noticed is that there always seems to be new staff in the service center. Every visit ends up being a different experience. some good, some not so good. I understand that not everyone has a perfect day, but my most recent visit was especially disappointing. I came in for a simple oil change and tire rotation. The service advisor who checked me in had no personality and didn’t set a great tone from the start. After about an hour and a half, my name was called and I was told my truck was ready. I paid and headed out, happy to be on my way, until I started my truck and immediately saw that my check engine light was on. This light was not on before my visit. I went back insid

The service people and advisor were good on the diagnosis my car, after the check engine light came on a few times and other shops were not able to figure out the cause of it. I was not always updated on my cars repairs, I had to keep calling to get updates. Parts took awhile to get to them, so my car was at the dealership for 2 weeks. I don't blame the techs but for the inconvenience I hoped there would have been more loaner cars available since they had my car for so long. Otherwise they did a great job on my car and solving the issue.

I made an appointment to take my vehicle in to get an engine diagnostic done. The check in desk said it would be 24-48 hours, to get it in. Apparently it sat 4 days without getting looked at. Better communication or actually acknowledging the scheduled appointment window would have been helpful. This place has gone downhill. Sales and service isn’t what it used to be.

Brought truck in for recall. They wrecked my truck and did not tell me. Then tried to fix it without replacing bent structural parts and damaged my truck further. It will never be the same. Never even got an apology or return communication from management. Had to take it in 3-times to get it fixed close to correctly
