I was looking for a new garage since Union Coach Works closed in Saratoga. They seem very capable and honest, told me I didn't need work done that the dealer said I did. Turning away work is always a good sign ! Seems like a well run shop.

I had to bring my dad here to pick up his truck after it got fixed and most of my family uses this automotive shop for their vehicles and always have high praise about the company they fixed his truck and made sure they were efficient so they weren't "overcharged " nothing but good things to say about this place! They are trustworthy and honest!

This auto repair shop and the people who work there are top notch. I was passing through town last week and had an emergency requiring the car to be lifted and the shield under the car to be taken down. They accommodated me immediately and were so friendly, knowledgeable and kind. The facility is spotless and their mechanics are very skilled. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for excellent service.

I was driving on Edie road when my truck lost control after crossing the train tracks. I was able come to a stop and happened to be infront of Child’s Automotive. I went inside to see if they could take a quick peek to see what could have happened so I knew where to have a tow truck bring it. George said they were booking out far in advance for appointments but when I explained my situation of breaking down, the crew quickly went to my truck and told me my ball joint came loose and the nut fell off. They went out of their way to fix my truck on the side of the road. They saved me hundreds of dollars in a tow and repairs. This is the type of business that every community needs. Thank you again!

I have been here twice now, first for new tires and secondly, for an inspection and oil change and I'm so glad I discovered Childs Automotive. I had been going to my Honda dealer previously, but when they shared that I would need new brakes despite the pads still having life and that my car probably wouldn't pass inspection without that work, I looked elsewhere. Childs Automotive is thorough and I don't feel like I'm being sold a bunch of things I don't need. The real clincher for me though is personal. I had to cancel an 8:00am appointment via voicemail at 6:30 in the morning that same day because I had to take my cat to the vet. I felt bad giving practically no notice. The voicemail I received back from George was totally understanding, willing to help me still get my inspection and oil
