CHRISTENSEN AUTOMOTIVE OF GARDNERVILLE

This was my first time to Christensen, they came highly recommended, the staff was great and welcoming. I brought my truck in for an oil change and a second opinion on a couple things. They did an inspection of the supposed issues and found nothing to be worried about. Everything was done in a very timely manor with very little time disruption to my day. I will definitely be returning!

These guys are unique. I work nights & was able to communicate regularly with Jerry via email, since I sleep during the day. First mechanic who has ever gone the extra mile for me in that way. They gave proper advice too, as my old BMW SUV had become a money pit. So we scrapped it rather than spend thousands in repairs. Additionally, we had thorough conversations with recommendations for my next purchase regarding what to buy & where. Best auto shop experience I've ever had.

Shane treated me like family, listened patiently as I described my truck’s issues. He got back to me promptly with an evaluation of what had to be done and should be done. The repairs took several days as expected. I was impressed that his estimate did not go up. In fact, came down a bit. I was updated as the work was done and it was completed within the original timeframe estimated once I gave the go ahead. Shane and the team at Christensen Automotive in Gardnerville are great. I was on my way home from a ski trip in the Tahoe area when my old Lexus SUV had a major transmission failure. The AAA tow driver suggested that I take the truck to Christensen and said they were by far the best shop in the area - and he was right. They found me a used transmission at a very reasonable price and did everything they could to get me back on the road as quickly as possible.
