Christian Brothers Automotive West Chester

This review is not based on work done at Christian Brothers but on the estimate I received from them for my 2012 Honda Odyssey. I live in Liberty Twp so CB is closer to my home than the reputable shop I normally use in Mason. CB also had really good reviews. I asked for a tuneup (spark plugs) and a general inspection of all major systems. I received an estimate for $5,800. Some of the pricing looked really high so I googled price ranges for those services and found that most of the bigger items were well above the high end estimates. These included a power steering pump, belt and fluid ($1,657), valve cover gaskets and spool valve ($2,213) and spark plugs ($797 - $70/plug x 6 + $328 labor). Had brakes fail on a trip. They happened to be close but I was fortunate. They offered a loaner or a ride to the hotel I was staying at. The service report was very professional. The people were very kind and understanding. They put priority to my work and did a fine job at a fair price. I will be using them in the cle area moving forward. I’ve never did a review before but this company was special and deserves a shout out.

A current technician there Mike recommended me to stop by. Booked an oil change through the website. The staff was very polite and prompt. Offered a vehicle check to make sure everything was in good working condition and sent results directly to my phone to be viewed. Only took an hour for everything and when I returned to pick up my car, they went over everything they found with a printed copy including prices for future reference. Wonderful experience and extremely happy with results. Will be back!

This place is the best. The staff are competent, decent people who take care of both your vehicle and you. They offer shuttle service, competetive prices that I find to be slightly lower than expected. They will even install performance parts for you if you work it out with them in advance. Most importantly, they don't lie to you, which the local dealerships absolutely do. Looking at you Toyota and Subaru. It's just real nice to know I have a trustworthy and competent shop that will take care of my family's vehicles.

Unfortunately I had a bad experience here. I took my 2016 Dart Here in September 2024 due to a grinding noise. I found out that the brake calipers and rotors on all sides of the car were severely corroded and was an immediate problem. I had the work done and experienced no issues until the week after when I heard more grinding. Took the car back and it was explained to me that the brake pads or calipers were put on backwards. They put everything back no problem. Fast forward to now: The hardware for both the front right and rear right brake calipers were severely damaged. I ended up going to another shop and had them replace both brake calipers no problem and no issues. If you go here, have a mechanic friend you know check over your car when you get it back.
