Very disappointed to actually write a review for something negative but here we are. Im a 22 year old college student that has a built second gen tacoma, mid travel, camper, general overland build. I called the shop 10/14/25 after getting off the ferry from cape lookout, and realizing I had bent a lower control arm and asked when the quickest I could get in. After telling Ray at the desk this he was able to get me in Thursday morning (10/16) for a "steering diagnostic" if it was there by 8am (After specifying it was bent). So excited to get my truck fixed I have it there Wednesday night and leave the keys in the key box. Worse experience possible. At 70 l had a knee replacement get infected. New to the area and not being able to do my own work l was suckered in by a fancy showroom. Had a Metalcloak long arm upgrade installed as a treat before two upcoming knee replacements due to an infected knee replacement preventing me from doing my own work. This was before two long hospital & rehab facility stays, and then months of home therapy to learn how to walk again. I was hoping to be able to enjoy a little exploring before surgeries and a long rehab processes. When l picked up jeep it was all over the road. Found out installer didn't lock the front Lock n Load feature. When l went to pick up my old control arm they replied they didn't think l wanted them back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a great experience with Clemson 4WD when I brought in my 2020 Jeep for an oil change, tire rotation, and control arm replacement. The service was quick and efficient, and the team took the time to clearly explain what needed to be done to get me safely back on the road. It’s always reassuring to work with a shop that’s both knowledgeable and transparent. Highly recommend Clemson 4WD for their excellent service and professionalism!

Brought car here for a tire rotations and general maintenance about a year ago. I'm writing this review because it seems to be a reoccurring issue here. They tried to convince me I needed new tires saying that I had "a few months or a couple thousand more miles" left on them. I went in a YEAR ago and my tires are still fine. I have had no alarms raised to my attention in the 4 or so maintenance services I have had at my local Toyota dealership. These guys aren't genuine and will try to upsell you on some BS.

Aaron and the team were very helpful with component selection and retrofit of our 2017 JK. My wife and I look forward to doing more business with an establishment that's been in business for 50+ years. That in itself lends huge credibility in our book! BTW...we have the take-off hard top and 5 wheel/tire assemblies for sale if anyone is interested.
