Commerce Car Wash

Bad wash.. left streaks and salt remained… quirky.. and confusing… wouldn’t take my card either had to pay cash. No monthly membership. Not impressed. Gains an extra star because it’s touchless.

Never realized there was an automatic car wash in the adjourning plaza to the Shippensburg Giant. Liked that there was a soft touch option as touchless does not clean the truck. Downside: The car wash has a 7' height limit. The truck only had a couple of inches to spare! (Look at the pics). Also, the truck is extended cab + 8' bed. Was not sure if it would fit. Then, after paying $16 for top wash, there was barely 2' or so on each side of the truck after folding in the mirrors! I prayed the whole time not to hear any damaging sounds! I and my truck survived! Hand wash is always best, but good to know there is an option for those times for a quick vehicle bath. Why can't they make them bigger!

Used the soft touch car wash option. I opted for the top of the line Extreme wash. It did a very good job and my car was cleaned very well, in fact better than I expected. But since the wash option was $15, it needed to do for that cost and it met my expectations. The only disappointment I experienced was the lack of a self service bay. There are only 2 bays, one is Soft touch and the other is touchless, both automatic car washes. I prefer to use the self service to clean my cars.

This is a terrible car wash. It’s sad it’s the only automatic car wash in the area. If you have time time save yourself the trouble and drive to Chambersburg to use one there!

Worked amazing, all equipment in good working order. Accepts physical cards, no tap to pay.
