Congers Heavy Duty Towing

WARNING: Do not use this company! I called them after my car’s ball joint cracked and explicitly warned the driver not to tow it without proper support. He ignored me, towed it normally, and caused severe damage: a broken axle and a transmission that leaked oil. This was completely preventable. They owe me money to fix the damage, and it’s clear they don’t care about your car at all—their only goal is to get it from point A to B while taking your money. If your car has any suspension or drivetrain issues, stay far away from this company.

I forgot the guy who came out to tow us out of one of those hard to reach places in this crappy NY area, he was very competent and good as his job. He got our box truck to where it needed to go safely with no problems. Would definitely recommend! Pricing was a little high but better than a lot in the area, easy payment

Never have I met a group of such unprofessional and rude dispatchers. The woman dispatcher deserves to be fired. I requested a tow at 12:45PM alerting them all charges were clear of the vehicle. They said they would be picking up the car momentarily. I contacted them again multiple times (once an hour) and got confirmation a guy would be there at 3:30. When calling the tow yard at 3:45 I connected the dispatcher straight to the Tow Yard. The woman not realizing I was on the line spoke rude comments about me and said they were not in the mood to do the tow as AAA was not going to pay them enough. What a awful business to deal with I hope AAA pulls their contract and they go out of business, or at least the dispatcher gets fired.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Khris, a tow truck operator at Congress Collision, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment he arrived, he was extremely professional and exceptionally friendly, making a stressful situation much easier to handle. His level of service went above and beyond—he was not only efficient but also very considerate throughout the entire process. If you’re ever in need of towing services, I highly recommend Khris for his outstanding professionalism and great service!

They can be a little gruff on the phone, but they seem to be very competent and although I didn't actually tow my car, the driver gave me some good advice and I really appreciate it.
