Costco Tire Service Center

I went to this shop last night to check my tire sensor light. They told me I had a nail in one tire and insisted they couldn’t replace just one tire on my AWD — that I needed four new tires even though mine were still pretty new. I asked if replacing all four would fix the tire light, and they said yes. They charged me $900 for a new set, and after installing them, the light was still on. They told me, “Just drive it, it will go off.” I drove for a full day and nothing changed. I went back, and suddenly they said all my sensors were “fine” and that the problem was my car computer, and I should go to the dealership. There is a system to follow and it is pretty easy. Also you will save money by coming to Costco. I paid less than a third what this other place has quoted me. My four tires failed at State Inspection, they charge over $3,200 for parts and labor. My husband and I came to the Costco Tire Center and thinking that we could drop my car off, it turned out that they do not take any cars over night any more. I paid less than $1,000 for top of the line Michelin tires. I was told that they will call me when the tires are in and I can drop my car off early in the morning. My tires arrived the next day. Have never had as terrible experience with a simple tire change as I just did this past Thursday. Took several hours and was returned with more tire glue on the wheels than actually landed on the tires, all four tires were not filled to the psi specified on the clearly visible inner door sticker and they managed to break one of my tpms in the process and had the audacity to state it had “worn out” despite being perfectly functional prior to their “work”. 0/10 will never give this shop more business.

Had a very bad experience today. I went today to fix my car tire that had a nail in it. After an hour I got a call that my car is ready to pick. When I went there to pick my car they told me they got to replace the tire as there were too many nails in it and asked me to pay for the new tire. I knew he was lying for sure but ended up paying as I was in rush. He also mentioned they already replaced the tire. After waiting 10 mins in the waiting area when I went to the back side of garage, my car wasn’t ready and they were replacing tire. Person lied that my car was ready. Costco might be selling the tires at reasonable rates but certainly robbing customer on their services.
