Cottman Transmission and Total Auto Care

I don't know what everybody's talking about I did service three times with cottman transmission and total auto care they did an excellent job every time

It took a while to change the entire transmission. But there were legitimate delays due to part availability. Once the parts were in the install was quick and I've not had any issues. Good people too.

My late husband and I owned this shop MANY years ago. I recommended this shop knowing Jeff was a great rebuilder who worked for us when we owned it. After 3 trips back to the shop for repairs the transmission was at best, “just ok” and over the past few months the transmission is failing yet again. Don’t waste your time or money. I wish there was an option for zero stars.

UPDATE BELOW!! I had a great experience here. I got my entire transmission rebuilt due to it being in a flood. (Nissan Altima CVT Transmission) I did not rush the process. The work took about two weeks and I know have my car back for about 2 weeks and it’s runs brand new. THANK YOU!! Rob at the customer is amazing. Hes very polite and friends. He’s also a man of his word. Everything he said they were going to do, he made sure it got done. Without him, I probably wouldn’t have got my transmission rebuilt. I was on the verge of looking for a new car, but he convinced me that the mechanics at this location are very knowledgeable on what they’re doing and even gave me warranty on parts & labor. Stay away. Took over a month to fix my truck. No communication from them. If you don't call them you never hear from them. They want there money up front before they do any work they hold vehicle forever. Guy answering phones is very rude. Stay away. Work is OK if they actually get it done in a decent time.
