Cottman Transmission and Total Auto Care

Gave it over a year before I wrote my reveiw. I have to say what most people say about the team that they tell it to you straight and no bs. Roy diagnosed and gave me the best price. Had it back in less than a week. My 2004 Ford Explorer has not had any issues since and shifts like butter. Good honest people. Highly reccomend.

Update Aug 2024: In late 2020, another shop that’s no longer in business botched a radiator replacement job and messed up the transmission. I inherited Blue (the car’s name) from my son who was a recent college grad. I didn’t know what I’d do with her since an extra vehicle wasn’t needed then. She looked abandoned for over a year, but thank goodness I kept her. Just as luck would have it, my daughter needed a car before finishing up college. I called Cottman and they installed a transmission in early 2022. Blue has been dinged, dented, used and abused by my family, but is still doing what she does, which is survive. The manager name is Roy. He Is so friendly and down to earth. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Does free diagnostic test. No one does that. The shop was very neat and clean. He has my business from here on out.
